Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and sometimes stylized with the letters in uppercase as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 and received great reviews from both music bloggers as well as from the press. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are two of her best-known songs. Katy Perry shared a tweet in which Perry announced her new song Runaway. Enjoy the celebration of this special event. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is finding a grand piano that was in the attic. The piano was fascinating to her its capabilities. Parents May-Britt as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music not as a profession or a pastime, but as a way to develop. The singer began to write songs of her own. She is credited with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, along with Bjork as being her influences. In response to her mother's suggestions that her children ought not to aim to be famous through the songs she writes, but rather recognize the significance of their lives and their impact on society. At age 6 she started playing the piano and at nine began writing her own songs. It was unknown to her family members until she reached the age of fourteen. Aurora has never imagined being a famous singer. The only thing she loves is writing songs. According to her music, is the most efficient way to express anything.
